After limping off the field in last night’s loss, Tim Lincecum appears to be OK. He took a line drive off the bat of Brad Ausmus in the fifth inning in the back/side of his right knee before falling to the ground. Thankfully, X-rays were negative, but whether Lincecum will make his next scheduled start (Sunday) is yet to be determined. The only diagnosis so far has been that it is a “bone bruise”, the progress of his recovery should let us know by Saturday if he will be able to go in Sunday’s game at Atlanta.
