The Giants took a 9-3 lead into the ninth inning and almost blew as Brian Wilson gave up five runs in the ninth to make it a razor thin 9-8 margin.  Matt Morris had a solid start at least.  He gave up two runs on seven hits and no walks with two strikeouts in six innings of work.

At the plate, Eliezer Alfonso went yard for the first time this spring while Todd Linden had three hits and two runs.
